HOPE – Hope Over Pain Everyday
July 5 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
An event every month that begins at 9:30 am on day First of the month, repeating until December 13, 2022
HOPE (Hope Over Pain Everyday) is a support group for women who struggle with chronic pain due to arthritis, auto-immune conditions, severe back pain, or other health issues. Its purpose is to provide encouragement, education, and hope for MRCC and community women facing daily pain challenges.
HOPE meets monthly on the second Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 AM in room A102.
This group is led by Gail Brookman, a trained facilitator who experiences chronic pain from multiple health conditions. We will use guided studies as well as host occasional guest speakers about resources that may be helpful.
While we will be sharing our pain struggles, our goal is for everyone to leave our support group meetings with a sense of HOPE. HOPE because we know God will take care of us and HOPE because we can connect with others who also experience chronic pain.
Romans 12:12 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
