Phil delivered a message entitled “Word Meets World.” He talked about how significant the words of Jesus are, especially when the world seems like it’s falling apart. This is precisely the situation Jesus speaks into in his speech in Luke 21. Nations war, families divide, the heavenly bodies shake, but “my words will never pass away” (33). This passage set up our presentation of our much-anticipated multi-year vision World Meets World: A Six Year Journey with Jesus.
