Third Culture Kids (TCKs)

If you spent a good portion of your childhood (especially the formative years between 12-18) growing up in a culture other than your parents because of their military or missionary status, then you’re a Third Culture Kid. We have an active TCK group throughout the school year at Oklahoma Christian University, and we host an annual summer camp, Global Reunion, where attendees celebrate their shared experience with other TCKs.

Global Reunion

Global Reunion unites Third Culture Kids and Third Culture Adults from all over the world. During Global Reunion, campers develop tools for ReEntry as well as skills for cross-cultural living. Annually, our campers represent 40+ countries on average.

The annual Global Reunion camp is only possible through the collaborative and volunteer efforts of a multitude of passionate individuals. We have coordinators for each of our three camp tracks (Adult, Teen/Young Adult, and Children); an incredible Food & Logistics team; and teams of people intentionally praying, planning, and preparing for camp throughout the year. This is not your typical American summer camp – but this is a camp specifically catering to third culture families who have lived in a variety of multi-cultural experiences.

InterMission

This is a missionary care organization comprised of former missionaries that provides international InterMission retreats, as well as domestic ReEntry weekends. We have also done worships for supporting churches, offering them training in missionary care and preparation for bringing missionary families home.
