BRIDGES Challenge #1 – Care Packages for Healthcare Workers & Senior Adults
This is an opportunity for this church family to build bridges—connecting with people who may experience the most isolation, danger, or other hardship during the Coronavirus pandemic. We will offer comfort and encouragement by delivering care packages to members of MRCC who are healthcare workers and to our most senior adults. We also want to build bridges with members of our Edmond/OKC community in these two groups as well. We need your suggestions of health care workers or senior adults outside of this church family to receive a care package delivery. We plan to deliver around 800 packages, so we also need lots of volunteers to do that. We are asking you to volunteer to make two deliveries, one to an MRCC member and another to a community recipient.
Please use the forms below to volunteer to deliver care packages and/or to suggest someone in our Edmond/OKC area community (health worker or senior adult) that we can encourage through “Bridges.” Please be praying that we will honor God by providing comfort through this opportunity.
BRIDGES Challenge #2 – Meals for Hospital Workers
We will volunteer to help provide a meal to shifts of workers at local hospitals to ease hardship during this trying time. Meal deliveries of varying sizes are listed on the meal train signup. This is a great project for QGroups, Bible Classes, or groups of families & friends to take on. Please fill out the form below to sign up for the Meal Train. Additional instructions will be provided upon signup.
All meal slots have been claimed. Thank you!
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
