CHILDREN’S EDUCATION
Spiritually developing one child at a time
MRCC places a high value on the spiritual education and development of our children and their families. This ministry partners with parents to be a resource and encouragement in this task.
MRCC KIDS
We are a large church, but we have intentionally designed our childrenโs Bible classes to be small and interactive. Our primary mission in childrenโs ministry is to spiritually develop one child at a time.
KEEPING YOUR CHILDREN SAFE
It is our priority to make every reasonable effort to ensure a safe and healthy environment for each child in our care during Bible class time. Everyone in the childrenโs department, both children and adults, wears a name tag. Every family must check in to our security system at the beginning of class and print their tags. Our members check in with their phone numbers at stations located throughout our building. If you are a guest, please stop by the information desk in your childโs department (early childhood or elementary) to get name tags. Parents/guardians will also get a matching tag to pick your child up from Bible class. All check-in tags have a randomly generated number each week.
Another way we maintain your childโs safety is through our selection and use of volunteers. We require at least two volunteers in a classroom at all times. All our volunteers have been members at Memorial Road for at least six months, and we require a background check before allowing any adult to serve in a classroom.
