Shoes for the City

We are excited to join with the Serve Midtown Church of Christ, South Walker Church of Christ, and Edmond Public Schools to bless members of our community with new shoes. On Easter Sunday, April 5, we want to fill our stage with new shoes that we can distribute to those in need. This will be a great opportunity to invite a friend, coworker, or neighbor not only to a worship service but also to join our efforts to bless our community.

The greatest need is for new children’s shoes for South Walker and Edmond Public Schools. These should be

• Tennis shoes/sneakers suitable for all weather (gender neutral preferred)
• Needed sizes range from 8C to 13C and 1Y to 7Y
• Adult sizes will also be needed for distribution at Serve Midtown.
• Please bring the shoes in their boxes if possible

More detailed instructions will be available as we approach that date, such as exact sizes as well as the delivery services needed. Due to storage constraints, we will not be receiving shoes until March 30. In the meantime, you can begin praying for this effort and for our service to the community as we seek to Live Good Lives, Do Good Works, and Share Good News.
