Scripture: John 19:26-27, 1 Timothy 5:1-2

Phil shared a sermon about Jesus’ words to his mother and to John. Jesus asked John to treat Mary like his own mother, and asked Mary to treat John like her own son. Jesus asks us to do the same. The church is to function as family.
