DESCRIPTION:One in ten people over age 65 live with Alzheimer’s disease today and this number is on the rise.  Of course\, this includes members of our church family and our community.  Most of us know multiple people affected by Alzheimer’s. \n\n\nWe offer two monthly in-person support group times for caregivers of a loved one with Alzheimer’s meeting in person at MRCC.  Caregivers are welcome to attend both or either of these times:\nThe first Tuesday evening of the month\, 6:30-8:00 in A119 (led by Dawn Hemphill and Mary Jo Jones)\nThe third Thursday of the month at 3:00-4:30 in A119  (led by Denise Hawkins).   \nOur groups are led by trained facilitators who each have been shaped by how this disease has impacted their families.
