SUMMARY:Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group (Tuesday evenings)
DESCRIPTION:One in ten people over age 65 live with Alzheimer’s disease today and this number is on the rise.  Of course\, this includes members of our church family and our community.  Most of us know multiple people affected by Alzheimer’s. \n\n\nWe offer two monthly in-person support group times for caregivers of a loved one with Alzheimer’s meeting in person at MRCC.  Caregivers are welcome to attend both or either of these times:\nThe first Tuesday evening of the month\, 6:30-8:00 in A119 (led by Dawn Hemphill and Mary Jo Jones)\nThe third Thursday of the month at 3:00-4:30 in A119  (led by Denise Hawkins).   \nOur groups are led by trained facilitators who each have been shaped by how this disease has impacted their families. As we meet in person\, masks are welcome but not required.

SUMMARY:Better Love Marriage Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a very unique marriage enrichment retreat that has elements which will have insights into each marriage’s areas of strength and areas where we can work to create BETTER LOVE. \nPlease register to join us on Friday evening April 4 and Saturday\, April 5 at the Sheraton Downtown OKC.   Each married couple will gain insights unique to their marriage beginning with a confidential marriage assessment and then spending time in concepts that every couple will  benefit from.  We will glorify God’s plan for marriage as a church family as we invest in the strengths of our individual marriages and strengths of marriages within our MRCC family. \n  \nRegistration fee of $295.00 includes: \n\nOvernight room Friday night at the Sheraton\nCatered meals Friday evening and Saturday lunch\nUnique confidential marriage assessment and related retreat bound materials\nRetreat presentations by that take us through four powerful marriage enrichment topics\n\nWe look forward to this great shared time glorifying God in our marriages.  We have space for 80 couples. \nCheck-in opens at 4:00 and event begins at 6:00 Friday.  Retreat time will include Saturday until 3:30. \n(Childcare is not offered.) \n  \nREGISTER NOW \nAny retreat questions can be sent to Tasha.Hodges@mrcc.org or call 405-607-6411.

SUMMARY:HOPE - Hope Over Pain Everyday
DESCRIPTION:HOPE (Hope Over Pain Everyday) is a support group for women who struggle with chronic pain due to arthritis\, auto-immune conditions\, severe back pain\, or other health issues. Its purpose is to provide encouragement\, education\, and hope for MRCC and community women facing daily pain challenges.  \nHOPE meets monthly on the second Tuesday from 10:00-11:30 AM in room A106. \nThis group is led by Gail Brookman\, a trained facilitator who experiences chronic pain from multiple health conditions.   We will use guided studies as well as host occasional guest speakers about resources that may be helpful. \nWhile we will be sharing our pain struggles\, our goal is for everyone to leave our support group meetings with a sense of HOPE.  HOPE because we know God will take care of us and HOPE because we can connect with others who also experience chronic pain. \nPlease pre-register and submit any questions here \nRomans 12:12 “Be joyful in hope\, patient in affliction\, faithful in prayer.”
