DESCRIPTION:Healing from divorce is not easy. It’s a long and painful process. The road of recovery should not be traveled alone.  \nDivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced.  It’s a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling. The weekly meetings include education and discussion about healing from the hurt of separation or divorce\, as well as a time to gain support. \n\n\n\nOur next fall series launches September 10\, 2025.  We will meet in room A 111 6:30-7:30 on Wednesdays this fall. \n\n\n\nChildren are invited to attend our Wednesday evening bible class for their age group while parents are in DivorceCare. DESCRIPTION:If you’re going through the heartache of grief\, the holiday season can be especially painful. \nOur Surviving the holidays seminar will help participants navigate the challenges of the holiday season. Participants will discover how to deal with emotions\, what to do about traditions\, helpful tips for surviving social and family events and how to find hope for the future. \nThis program is tailored to the needs of participants as the holidays approach. \nWe will meet Friday morning\, November 21 at 10:00-11:30. SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Day in the City
DESCRIPTION:This year for our Memorial Road Church of Christ traditional Thanksgiving Day in the City we are going to be delivering Thanksgiving meal boxes on Wednesday\, November 26\, 2025.  We will focus on locations throughout Edmond\, Oklahoma City\, and the surrounding area. \nThose receiving the meal boxes should expect to receive their boxes between 11 AM and 12:30 PM on Wednesday\, November 26.  Each box will contain the common foods needed for a Thanksgiving meal\, including a ham or turkey as the meat. \nWe need lots of volunteers on the morning of Wednesday\, November 26 to deliver meal boxes. Use the links below to volunteer or to donate money for pies. \n\n\n\nCLICK HERE to volunteer for the morning of Wednesday\, November 26. You will receive detailed instructions prior to that day.\nCLICK HERE to donate funds for pies.
