SUMMARY:DivorceCare
DESCRIPTION:Healing from divorce is not easy. It’s a long and painful process. The road of recovery should not be traveled alone.  \nDivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced.  It’s a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling. The weekly meetings include education and discussion about healing from the hurt of separation or divorce\, as well as a time to gain support. \n\n\n\nOur next fall series launches September 10\, 2025.  We will meet in room A 111 6:30-7:30 on Wednesdays this fall. \n\n\n\nChildren are invited to attend our Wednesday evening bible class for their age group while parents are in DivorceCare. DESCRIPTION:If you’re going through the heartache of grief\, the holiday season can be especially painful. \nOur Surviving the holidays seminar will help participants navigate the challenges of the holiday season. Two sessions will be dedicated to helping parents understand the unique influences and mindsets of Generation Alpha. \nArtificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Threats: Have you considered how artificial intelligence will impact our children and teens?  This session will unpack both opportunities and threats facing parents as they seek to navigate the impact of AI on growth and development. \nThe Anxious Generation: How do we help? This session will focus on understanding the anxiety our children and teens are experiencing.  Parents will also be given tips for managing anxiety and addressing the underlying issues \n  \nDr. Shelly Melia serves as the Program Director for the Master of Arts in Children’s Ministry and the Master of Arts in Family Ministry at Dallas Baptist University.
