Center for Women's Bible Studies (CWBS)

CWBS is a small group women's Bible study open to all ladies in the community who desire an in-depth study of God's word. If you are looking for a safe, affirming place to dig into the Word with other women who desire a deeper relationship with God, we invite you to join us. CWBS offers a wonderful combination of accountability, support, and fellowship. This year the theme of our study will be A Study of Matthew: Follow Me.

Whether you are new to the Bible, or feel like you are familiar with most of its teachings, a study of Matthew will challenge your idea of what it means to be a follower of Christ. The Sermon on the Mount, recorded in Matthew, is arguably the best known of Jesus' teachings, but the least obeyed. What would it look like if we challenged ourselves to change that? Instead of listening to the voices of our culture, we instead listened to Jesus' call to be radically different and "Follow Me"?

Small groups meet weekly on Thursday mornings from 9:30 – 11:00. Childcare is provided during all of our CWBS studies and luncheons. Please pre-register for childcare when you sign up for CWBS. We also offer optional extended childcare twice during our study. For $5/child, you can leave your little ones with MRCC babysitters until 1:00 and enjoy some extra free time.

Our study of Matthew will run from September 14-November 16 and resume on January 11, with an extended break during the holiday season. This 21-week study concludes for the year on April 5.
