Women's Ministry
The purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to promote a growing relationship with Jesus Christ for women, to build close friendships with one another, and to provide opportunities for mentoring, service and ministry.

A special facet of this work is the Center for Women’s Biblical Studies, a non-denominational, in-depth Bible study held on Thursdays from 9:30-11:00 September through April.


Opportunities to serve:
  • Teach Bible studies
  • Host new member gatherings for women
  • Lead prayer groups for women
  • Organize fellowship activities for women
  • Serve on curriculum planning committee for women's ministry Wednesday night classes
  • Use computer, advertising, telephone or organizational skills to support the work of the women's ministry

    /rifresher/ n. an evening for women to rejuvenate their body & spirit and to enhance their walk with Christ through fun & fellowship.

    Valari Wedel will speak at the spring refresHER on Tuesday, March 2, 6:30-8:30 PM in Fellowship Central. Sign ups begin February 7 in the lobby. 

    Winter Small Group Ladies’ Bible Studies
    Opportunities abound to be part of a ladies' small group Bible study this winter! Whether it's in the morning, afternoon or evening, or over lunch, there's a spot for you. Women of all ages are welcome in all studies. Studies kick off the week of January 18. 

    Wednesday Night Small Group
    Ladies’ Bible Studies
    Two small group studies are being offered on Wednesday nights beginning January 6, Speaking Wisely: Exploring the Power of Words (Fisherman), and Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman (Beth Moore). Esther will span the winter and spring quarters. 

    Your Girl
    Your Girl is an 8-week study that provides tools to help mothers of teens raise godly daughters and addresses six of the fiercest battles of the teen years: conformity, self-esteem, sexual purity, modesty, boys, and girl politics.

    “Becoming A Woman After God’s Heart”
    We will resume our weekly study of 1 Samuel on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 9:30 am at MRCC.
