Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.
The Capitol Hill Church of Christ / Iglesia de Cristo Capitol Hill is a multiracial and multilingual congregation in the South of Oklahoma City. We exist to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through teaching and service to the community.
All of our worship services and different ministries are conducted in both English and Spanish to accommodate the ethnic diversity of our community. In addition to our Sunday worship services and Bible class we have Bible study every Thursday night. Through clear biblical teaching and sharing the love of Christ through service, God is using His children in Capitol Hill to make a difference for Christ.
We have volunteers from several different congregations of the Lord’s church that serve in our various ministries. If you are interested in volunteering in one of the many different service opportunities including after-school tutoring, benevolence, English as a second language classes or others, please contact Lance Towers or Lauren Gilliam.
