Marriage 101 (PART II) & Marriage Mentoring
For couples married by August 31, 2010
For couples married by August 31, 2010

Marriage 101 Class
Marriage 101 (Part II) will meet Sundays from 4:30 to 6 pm, beginning Sept. 12, weaving together powerful principles from scripture with findings from marital research.
This fall continuance of Marriage 101 (our spring session) will explore all that God expects in a healthy marriage, realistic marital expectations, and how to express love & respect to your spouse. It is designed to teach couples communication and problem solving skills, helping partners say what they need to say, get to the heart of problems and increase their connection with each other.
Marriage Mentoring Program
Our Marriage Mentoring Program will be offered beginning the fall of 2010 for couples who have participated in Marriage 101 already, or plan to participate this year.
We have trained Mentor Couples who are all MRCC members and who are willing to share from their own marriage experience in order to help young couples be equipped to navigate the challenges commonly faced in marriage.
The Marriage Mentoring registration profile (available online in August 2010) will ask for information to help the coordinators match young couples with mentors who have similar interests & careers. There will also be mixer opportunities to help natural relationships form between our available mentors and newlywed couples.
To participate in Marriage Mentoring 2010, couples need to have a wedding date prior to Aug. 31, 2010 and plan to stay at MRCC for one year. Additionally couples need to be participating in Marriage 101 or have already completed this class with us.
Contact Jenny Jones via e-mail or at 607-6432 with any questions about either of these programs.
